How to taste a bit of heaven every day?

I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced the same to this extend, but after I started meditating my taste buds and eating pleasures have changed and I have been a lot more sensitive to the taste and the quality of food. Certainly all in a very good way. I actually realised that I haven't been able to stop myself from saying: " wooow heaven, pure heaven", when the food I ate tasted really nice. Others present at the table at that time usually just laugh at me and agree the food is great and they usually say that I can be actually trusted commenting on food whether it’s good or bad. I have been eating mainly organic foods for about 10 years now and even before that and whilst growing up I was lucky enough to have had parents that were cooking everything from scratch and always loved gardening and therefore producing our own fruit and veggies as much as possible. I was also very lucky to grow up in a country that really looks after its children and we always had hot meals during all the years of kindergarten, school and later university. Now I can see how much I took all of that for granted. Not once I thought other children in other (western, modern and well developed !?) countries wouldn't provide something (so simple, so essential and yet so expensive?) as a freshly cooked, tasty and well balanced meal available at school or work. Now my family, my children live in one of these countries. More I see how far this is going more eager I am to  keep cooking well, no processed food involved and from scratch every day.
I can hear it already, many of you are probably saying :"yeah right, who’s got the time for cooking? I come from work exhausted every evening, barely dragging my self and my two feet... " I know, I know, I’ve been there too and still am and I'm sure probably it would be hard to find someone who isn’t feeling like that.
That’s exactly why I thought to do something about it and I know it’s everywhere now; on TV, radio, all over internet, magazines, countless books, … but I will do it anyway just in case I inspire one more person on this world and it’s all worth it for me. So, here it comes, a heavenly recipe for a quick dinner when you come home all exhausted, maybe feel even a little lonely and a little bit sad and all you have in a fridge are some old bits and pieces of veggies, looking pretty sad at you.
So if you are ready for a little adventure I have to warn you that I never measure anything and do everything from scratch but Pesto. So, you’ll have a freedom of doing always your own variety, which makes it that more challenging and faster to learn about the endless options you have. I also found it to be a pleasurable thing and not a chore that needs to be done. You put your favourite music on, pour a glass of a nice drink for yourself and a partner, roommate,... or if you have kids just give them some play dough to cook the same as you will and they can start learning already how to cook. I find my children developing passion for good food through discussions and learning more about the food, especially what they are good for (bones, muscles, brain, etc.).

GOOD OLD VEGGIE STEW
1. Chop up different types of veggies in cubes ,even 1 or 2 types will do as long as you have potatoes(peppers, carrots, courgette, potatoes, garlic, onions, etc.), less than half a bowl of fresh veggies = 1 serving
2. Put some olive oil in a (stewing) pot, just enough to cover the surface of a stewing pot
3. If you are an onion lover now it's the time to fry some onions as thin or thick as you like
4. Add potatoes to half fried onions, keep stirring until gold-ish colour starts appearing on both
4. Start adding other veggies and keep stirring on a medium heat until texture is thick
5. Add a pinch of salt and pepper if you wish, then quite a lot of paprika (hot or sweet) or/and basil or/and oregano or/and parsley and don't forget a pinch of love
6. Now add finely chopped tomatoes or tomato based sauce and keep stirring for a minute or two
7. Now add some warm water and cover with a lid (enough water to cover your veggies, but if you want it thicker just take the lid of for 5 min at the end), stir once again and add a bay leaf , if you are up for a rich taste or expecting some company a glass of red wine in a stew is always more than welcome
8. Keep on low or medium heat from 15-20 minutes depending on how hungry you are :-) and also make sure you can stay close if on higher heat
9. Now you put your feet up and relax before your dinner
You can serve this stew with some bread and butter on a side or if you prefer you can even just add a spoon full of rice, which will make your stew a lot stronger, in case of doing a lot of physical work and requiring energy. There is also a longer version of this kind of stew, which would normally contain some diced stewing beef or even just chicken. The difference is mainly in a cooking time being twice as long as now or even longer. For that 'woooow! this is heaven' effect try to use organic ingredients., not genetically modified if only possible. You will soon realise that small quantities of a good quality food are so much better and satisfying for your body and soul than the rest.
Enjoy your heavenly tasting stew, made with a little help of angels and lots of your love...

How do I search for my hapiness ?

Follow your heart, it is the only path that leads straight to Happiness...

We are probably all aware that happiness is a state of mind that we can't feel every day, all the time. It sounds sad but actually imagine how being happy all the time would make you feel. To me it feels pretty exhausting. Most importantly other things such as sadness, heartache, disappointment help us to develop higher on our personal and spiritual levels. How many of us would really be asking ourselves what could we do better, how could I become a better person, how could I improve my relationship, how could I avoid or prevent this next time, etc. if we were only to feel happy all the time?
It is fine to feel sad and it is fine to sometimes take a time out and spend a day in bed. It's fine to be alone, just taking a break from life. We need time to think about what we really want from life and calm your body and mind well enough until you hear the voice from your heart asking what it really wants.
Sometimes we want to be with someone soooo much that we forget where such a strong feeling or even a slight obsession is coming from. Perhaps a father figure in him gave you that feeling of safety, or maybe someone comes in your life you can finally rely on because you couldn't count on anyone for so long and it left you exhausted, or you found someone you think it's better to be with just to avoid being on your own or to 'replace' in a way your ex boyfriends/wife/husband or even your family, mother or father, ...
There is always a reason for certain feelings so better we understand where they come from easier it is accepting them and reach a state of happiness and contentment  again. As soon as we are ready to accept those reasons for our feelings we actually start seeing things through different eyes, those of compassion and forgiveness, and not anger and resentment anymore. It is the most liberating feeling I know. When we let ourselves to feel compassion and love they bring us warmth that channels through your whole body and you just know you are not alone anymore. It's a sign of angels being present within and all around us. They help us feel compassion in our whole body, spreading as a sudden surge of energy flowing down your spine, pushing away the pain and everything else that was bringing us down, making way for the healthy energy that is full of  love, enthusiasm and passion for life. Now you can sense even more the presence of our Angels, holding your hand firmly and the moment of happiness is coming out, suddenly you can feel it in your veins, your chest, your head. It's coming from within and it seems so familiar and exciting, like it's been there forever but never this close to you as right now.

The one we need the most is within us, we just have to reach out when we need it.

What are they reminding us of today? Angel message: Truth & Integrity

Today’s card is: Truth & Integrity. In the Angel card interpretation booklet, by Doreen Virtue http://www.angeltherapy.com/, this card is about how we should be truthful to ourselves in all our activities and actions for the Divine light to enter and the miracles to follow.
Many times in life we find it hard to see, understand or feel the truth. So how do you become truthful to yourself when you don't even know what the truth is, when all you can see is something you were supposed to feel, supposed to see or supposed to be? Sometimes we have years of training about how we should feel about something, how we should see the world and act upon things, who we should become and what is best for us. Maybe we needed to grow up a little, live a little and get our own experience to feel and see the world differently. Certainly it hurts a little realising you have changed and that you haven't been really truthful to yourself ever since ...  Sometimes it is hard to know how to act upon our feelings, especially when we feel both at the same time: happiness and sadness, hurt and joy or love and hate. Whenever we don't want to accept the truth it starts loudly knocking on our door but by then unfortunately we already feel trapped and frustrated by our situation and something is saying to us: I can't go on like this anymore, I want better for myself. That is the voice of our Angels in us, giving us a chance to change, to become the person we always wanted to be. It's our chance to accept OUR own truth and claim it as ours with pride and joy every day from that moment on. It is a sign that the old will be replaced with something better and therefore we should release our doubts, troubles and worries to God and our Angels for their healing. They will help our courage and faith to grow and walk hand in hand wherever you go. New and better things come into our lives when we let them to, when we make that first leap of faith in ourselves. After we do it, we feel safe, calm and guided by God and the Angels ... reassuring us they are with us every step of the way.
Not to forget; 'When one door closes another door opens.'

Signs from your Angels

When we ask our Angels and God for their guidance they usually start providing us with the signs to follow. The path chosen might not always be what we wanted but rather what we needed.

Focus: the Angel Card of the day, May 9, 2013

Angels are sending us a message to Focus; Focus only on what you want and not on what you do not want

Too often, I’ve realised that when we want something we tend to concentrate too hard on what we don't want instead of on what we truly want. It could be the fear in us saying that it is just 'too good to be true' or we feel unsure not trusting ourselves if we really wanted that or sometimes we even feel like we don't deserve that. It doesn't really matter what it is that makes us doubt as long as when these doubts creep up into our mind, we choose to overcome them by keeping our thoughts positive. By making a conscious decision of keeping our thoughts within the frame of our positive attitude we automatically create positive experience.
For example; when we are not happy with the current job, take the time to think about the job that makes you feel really happy. It is usually the kind of work you’d feel very passionate about. Most of the people feel they have a natural talent for it and most importantly they don’t find anything to be too hard when doing that job. This is usually the time when we stop looking back dwelling on our current jobs, thinking about how to change them to fit our needs better. This is the time when visualising yourself doing the job you really like can be very helpful. If you see yourself happy whilst doing that job, that’s your sign to continue and pursue your happiness, it could be even your life mission...  I guess it could be even slightly easier than attempting to change a corporate policy or persuading your boss into something that will truly satisfy your needs. ;-)
Positive mind-set gives us the energy, courage and drive... all we need to do anything we want to make our lives better. Positive attitude attracts positive people and what seemed impossible just a minute ago becomes possible. It creates that ‘Can Do’ attitude, which helps us to stop thinking about the obstacles on the way. Positive attitude comes by visualising ourselves already achieving the goal we have set and if we hold that picture in front of our eyes just for a second or two we soon start feeling butterflies in a stomach, just like when falling in love. These are our passion and determination that just woke up and gave us a boost of confidence that we so needed. Now we know exactly what we want and it is the safest feeling in the world.
Enjoy your day focusing on positive thoughts.

What our Angels have to say to us ?

I start every day with a small ritual of asking my Angels to help me with an insight, inspiration or some guidance for a new start of my day. It’s a beautiful start of the day as Angels do not judge or dwell on negative life experience, they are with us to give us their unconditional love, help and support.
I decided to share Angels' messages that they have for us and the world we live in. So for all those interested in what they want to share with us and my interpretation of that message communicated to me by Angel Cards (by Doreen Virtue) I welcome you to join me in this spiritual journey where we can perhaps learn more about each other and this world we have been given (for free!), only to love and share.

Enjoy your day!
